EDUCATION
 

Need a Volunteer Sunday School Teacher?
Do you have a vacant time slot you wish to fill?
The Worldwide Ministries Care Team has a three week Sunday School Program for All Ages.

  • Week One - meet our Presbytery Partner, The Hungarian Reformed Church in Romania

  • Week Two - developing a church to church partnership - why, how and where

  • Week Three - culture, food and fun - how culture and faith interrelate

Sunday School - up to 3 week program for adults.  The class will be taught by Worldwide Ministries Care Team members, using power point, slides, visual aids, and refreshments.  Please give us one month's notice.

  • Week One - the history of the Hungarian Reformed Church in Romania

  • Week Two - Church to Church Partnership

  • Week Three - celebrating Hungarian Culture and Reformed faith

 

Evening Presentation - on our travel study trip to Romania which took place in September 2005.  This program could be presented to your congregation, mission committee, or small group to learn more about the area of Transylvania.
 

 

Roundtable - Saturday, March 31, 2007 - 9:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. at Brainerd Presbyterian Center, 1301 Middle Easton Belmont Pike, Stroudsburg (Snydersville), PA
Share and hear Lehigh Presbytery churches discuss their joys and challenges. This roundtable is facilitated by Manuela and Juan Kauer.  Juan and Manuela have been PC(USA) Coworkers in Argentina and church to church partnership facilitators. Juan is a leader of many international mission experiences. Manuela is serving as Interim Coordinator of Local-Global Ministries at First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem.  Interested churches and presbytery members are welcome to attend.
