UPDATE

We have returned from a week of mission work in New Bern, NC.  A rewarding experience to see the homes almost ready for the families to move the furniture and other belongings back in place.

The home owners have waited a long time to see this day.  We had 18 volunteers this time.  We had two houses to work on.  A lot of painting cabinets, doors and walls.  We fixed weak flooring and installed a new kitchen, dining room and bathroom floors. Some volunteers at the other house took out old damaged steps in front and back of the house.  Then rebuilt wood rails and steps to the entrances.  A lot of painting of walls and ceilings and a new floor also. We started our day thanking God for our strength and talents and the beautiful day.  We have our meals together and are able to do a little site seeing at the end of the week.

The Pastor of the Neuse Forest Presbyterian Church, Pastor John Robinson, Jr., would like everyone to know how much they appreciate and rely on all the volunteers making a difference for the people. The date for the next trip is Nov. 9-16, 2024.  We welcome everyone to come with us.
